Forthspan was formed in 2007 and brings together four major contractors which will compete as an integrated joint venture to participate in the procurement of the UK’s most significant new bridge in 20 years; Transport Scotland’s £2.3 billion Forth Replacement Crossing.

Forthspan has selected a world class design team to design, detail and check the bridge and extensive roadworks on the scheme. Our design joint venture team including Halcrow Group Ltd, Cowi A/S, (incorporating Flint and Neill partnership) and WA Fairhurst and Partners will work alongside our in-house design teams to ensure that construction methodology is integral to our design development.
